Machine frequently asks to empty the drip tray or dreg drawer even when they are nearly empty.

Safety first: Unplug the machine before cleaning sensors.

• Empty and clean: Fully empty and wash the drip tray and dreg drawer. Dry them completely.
• Check floats: If the drip tray has a red float indicator, ensure it moves freely and is not stuck in the up position.
• Reinsert correctly: Slide the tray and drawer back in until they click into place.
• Reset counters: Some Ariete models allow resetting the used coffee counter in the menu; consult the manual.
• If warnings remain frequent: The sensor or control board may be misreading and should be checked by a service technician.
