Moldy or musty smell from the coffee maker or water tank.

Safety first: Unplug the machine before cleaning.

• Clean tank daily: Empty the water tank, wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry before refilling.
• Clean drip tray and dreg drawer: Remove, wash, and dry these parts at least every 1–2 days.
• Leave open to dry: When not in use for extended periods, leave the tank and drip tray slightly open to allow air circulation.
• Run cleaning cycles: Run several hot water cycles to flush internal lines.
