Possible Causes
Empty or improperly seated water tank, Air lock in pump, Failed vibration pump, Severely blocked inlet filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before moving it or removing the tank.
- Check tank: Ensure the water tank is full and correctly seated. Press it down gently to engage the bottom valve.
- Prime pump: With the tank full, plug in the machine and start a hot water or rinse cycle. If the pump buzzes but no water flows, stop, unplug, and gently tap the side of the machine to dislodge air. Try again.
- Clean tank filter: Some Ariete tanks have a small mesh filter at the outlet. Rinse it under running water to remove debris.
- Descale: If some flow returns, immediately run a descaling cycle to prevent re-blocking.
- If still no water: The pump or internal inlet may be blocked or failed and must be serviced or replaced by a technician.
