How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine before moving it or removing the tank.

Check tank: Ensure the water tank is full and correctly seated. Press it down gently to engage the bottom valve.
Prime pump: With the tank full, plug in the machine and start a hot water or rinse cycle. If the pump buzzes but no water flows, stop, unplug, and gently tap the side of the machine to dislodge air. Try again.
Clean tank filter: Some Ariete tanks have a small mesh filter at the outlet. Rinse it under running water to remove debris.
Descale: If some flow returns, immediately run a descaling cycle to prevent re-blocking.
If still no water: The pump or internal inlet may be blocked or failed and must be serviced or replaced by a technician.

No water comes out at all during brewing; pump is either silent or makes a loud buzzing noise.
