• Use fresh water: Empty and refill the tank daily with fresh, cold water. Avoid leaving water in the tank for days.
• Clean coffee components: Thoroughly clean the portafilter, filter baskets, and spouts with coffee cleaner to remove oils.
• Descale: Run a descaling cycle to remove metallic-tasting scale from the boiler and pipes.
• Rinse thoroughly: After descaling, run at least two full tanks of plain water through the system.
