Safety: Unplug and allow the machine to cool fully before opening.

• Check ready lights: If the heating indicator never comes on, suspect control or thermostat issues. If it comes on but no heat, suspect element or wiring.
• Inspect boiler terminals: Access the boiler and verify that heater wires are firmly attached and not burnt.
• Test thermal fuse/thermostat: Use a multimeter to check continuity across the safety thermostat and any inline thermal fuse. Replace if open.
• Measure element resistance: Disconnect heater leads and measure resistance across the element. An open circuit indicates a failed boiler element.
• Control board: If the element and thermostats are good but no voltage is sent to the heater, the control board relay/triac is likely faulty and the board should be replaced.
