• Access the 3-way valve: Remove the top or side panel to locate the brass or stainless 3-way solenoid valve connected to the group.
• Check coil resistance: Disconnect the solenoid coil and measure resistance with a multimeter. An open circuit indicates a failed coil.
• Inspect for leaks or corrosion: Look for water leaks around the valve body and fittings. Tighten or reseal as needed.
• Clean or replace valve: If the valve is mechanically stuck due to scale, disassemble and clean the internal parts, or replace the complete valve assembly.
