Initial checks:

• Verify outlet: Plug the machine into a known-good outlet without extension cords or power strips. Low-quality strips can cause voltage drops.
• Check power cord: Inspect the Ascaso power cord for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace if damaged.

Internal checks (unplug first):

• Inspect mains connections: Remove the housing and check that the mains terminals, switch, and EMI filter are secure and not heat-damaged.
• Look for shorts: Examine the control board and boiler terminals for signs of arcing, burnt components, or melted insulation.
• Measure supply voltage: If you have a multimeter and experience, measure mains voltage at the outlet to ensure it is within Ascaso specifications.
• Replace control board: If external power is stable and no obvious shorts are found, the internal low-voltage power supply on the control board may be failing. Replace the main control board.
