How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before any inspection.
- Check outlet and cord: Test the outlet with another appliance. Inspect the Ascaso power cord for cuts or burns. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Inspect main switch: Access the front panel and test the main rocker switch with a multimeter for continuity when ON. Replace if it does not close properly.
- Check internal fuse: Locate the fuse holder near the mains entry or on the control board. Remove the fuse and test continuity. Replace only with the same rating and type.
- Examine EMI filter and connectors: Look for burnt or loose spade connectors at the mains filter and distribution block. Tighten or replace as needed.
Warning: If the new fuse blows immediately, there is likely a short circuit in the heater, pump, or control board. Do not keep replacing fuses; have the machine serviced.
