Possible Causes
Cracked silicone hose, Loose hose clamp, Leaking boiler gasket, Leaking 3-way valve or OPV fitting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the machine and let it cool. Water near live parts is dangerous.
- External check: Remove the water tank and drip tray. Inspect for obvious cracks or overflowing.
- Open the housing: Remove the top/side panels and look for water trails or mineral deposits to trace the leak source.
- Tighten fittings: Gently tighten any loose compression or threaded fittings on the boiler, OPV, and valves.
- Replace hoses: If silicone hoses are brittle, cracked, or swollen, cut back to fresh material or replace with food-grade silicone hose of the same diameter.
- Boiler gasket: If water seeps around the boiler flange, replace the boiler gasket following Ascaso service procedures.
