Possible Causes
Stuck relay on control board, Shorted warming plate thermostat, Firmware error in auto-shutoff timer
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker when not in use to prevent overheating or fire risk.
- Reset unit: Unplug for 10 minutes to reset the control board, then test auto-shutoff again.
- Observe timing: Time how long the plate stays on compared to the programmed shutoff. If it never turns off, the control or thermostat is faulty.
Because a stuck-on hot plate is a fire hazard, discontinue use until the control board or thermostat can be replaced.
