Single-serve Avanti coffee maker does not puncture or fully pierce the coffee pod, causing poor or no flow.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before inserting tools near the needles. Needles are sharp.

• Clean needles: Use a straightened paper clip or the manufacturer-supplied cleaning tool to gently clear the holes in the upper and lower needles.
• Rinse pod holder: Remove the pod holder and rinse thoroughly to remove coffee oils and grounds.
• Inspect alignment: Ensure the pod holder seats fully and that the lid closes completely to engage the upper needle.

If the needle is visibly bent or broken, replace the pod holder or needle assembly.
