Possible Causes
Dried milk inside wand, Blocked steam tip holes, Scale buildup in wand, Rubber grommet collapsed inside wand
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the machine. Allow the boiler to cool and pressure to drop before removing the steam tip.
- Remove steam tip: Unscrew the tip from the wand. Soak it in hot water with milk cleaner or descaler.
- Clear holes: Use a fine needle to clear each hole in the steam tip. Do not enlarge the holes.
- Flush wand: With the tip removed and the machine reassembled and powered, briefly open the steam valve to flush out any internal debris (use a container to catch water).
- Reassemble and test: Screw the cleaned tip back on and test steam output.
If the wand remains blocked, internal scale or a collapsed liner may require replacement of the entire steam wand.
