Possible Causes

Heavy mineral scale in aluminum heating tube, clogged silicone water hoses, blocked showerhead or brew head, coffee grounds or paper filter fragments in water path

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug and let the unit cool before disassembly or descaling.

Descale thoroughly:

  • Fill the reservoir with a 1:1 mixture of white vinegar and water.
  • Start a brew cycle and allow about half the solution to pass through, then pause for 20–30 minutes.
  • Resume and complete the cycle, then run 2–3 cycles of fresh water to rinse.

Clean brew head and basket:

  • Remove the filter basket and wash it thoroughly, including the bottom outlet.
  • Remove the showerhead / brew head (if removable) and clean the holes with a toothpick or soft brush.

Internal hose check (advanced):

  • Remove the top cover to access the silicone hoses between the reservoir, heater, and brew head.
  • Inspect for kinks or blockages; detach and flush hoses with hot water if needed.

When to replace:

  • If descaling does not restore flow and the heating tube remains restricted, replace the heating element / boiler assembly.
  • Replace brittle or collapsed silicone water hoses if they no longer maintain shape.
