Coffee maker makes loud gurgling, sputtering, or popping noises during brewing.

Possible Causes
Air pockets in heating tube, mineral scale causing uneven boiling, low water level in reservoir, loose or vibrating internal tubing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No immediate hazard, but always unplug before opening the unit.
Basic steps:
- Ensure the reservoir is filled to at least the minimum level before brewing.
- Run a full brew cycle with water only to purge air from the system.
Descale to reduce noise:
- Perform a vinegar descaling cycle (1:1 vinegar to water) to remove scale from the heating tube.
Check internal tubing:
- Remove the top cover and inspect silicone hoses for loose routing that may vibrate against the housing.
- Secure hoses with high-temperature cable ties or clips where appropriate.
When to replace:
- If noise persists and is accompanied by poor flow, replace the heating element / boiler assembly due to internal scale or damage.
