Coffee tastes weak or watery even when using the same amount of coffee grounds.

Safety first: Allow the unit to cool before removing internal parts.

Adjust brewing variables:

• Use a medium grind coffee suitable for drip machines.
• Increase the amount of coffee grounds per cup.
• On models with a brew strength button, select BOLD or STRONG.

Clean showerhead and basket:

• Remove and clean the showerhead / brew head to ensure even water distribution.
• Ensure the filter basket is not warped and allows proper flow.

Bypass valve (if equipped):

• Some advanced models have a bypass valve that diverts water; if stuck open, extraction is reduced.
• Inspect and clean the valve; replace if it does not move freely.
