Water remains in the reservoir and does not drain during brewing.

Clean outlet and inlet:

• Remove the water reservoir and inspect the outlet at the bottom.
• Clean any mesh screen or valve with warm water and a soft brush.
• Inspect the inlet port on the coffee maker body and clear any debris.

Check valve operation:

• On models with a spring-loaded valve, press it gently to ensure it moves freely.

When to replace:

• Replace a damaged reservoir outlet valve or the entire reservoir assembly if it does not open properly.
