Bodum coffee maker’s water reservoir level indicator (float) is stuck and does not move with water level.

Steps to try:

• Remove and soak: If the float is removable, take it out and soak in warm vinegar solution to dissolve scale.
• Clean guide: Use a soft brush to clean the float channel inside the reservoir.
• Manual movement: Gently move the float up and down in water to ensure free travel.

If the reservoir is warped and pinching the float, the reservoir may need replacement.
