Coffee is too strong or bitter, with very slow flow from the spouts.

Safety first: Allow the machine to cool before disassembling the spout area.

• Adjust grind coarser: While brewing, adjust the grinder one step coarser and test again.
• Lower strength setting: Reduce the aroma/strength level to decrease the coffee dose.
• Clean coffee spouts: Use a small brush or toothpick to clear the outlet holes. Many Bosch models have a removable spout cover; remove and rinse it.
• Descale the machine: Run a full descaling cycle to restore proper flow through the thermoblock and valves.
• If flow remains very slow: Internal blockages or a failing pump may be present; contact Bosch service.
