Possible Causes
Leaking hose or O-ring, Blocked drainage causing overflow, Faulty drip tray level sensor, Cracked internal fitting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine immediately if you suspect an internal leak. Water near electrical parts is dangerous.
- Empty drip tray and grounds container: Remove and empty both, then clean and dry them thoroughly. Reinstall correctly.
- Inspect for visible leaks: Look inside the service door and under the machine for signs of water. If you see pooling water, do not continue using the machine.
- Check drip tray sensor: Some Bosch models use a float or conductivity sensor in the drip tray. Ensure the float moves freely and the tray is not warped.
- Run a short rinse test: With the side door open (if safe) and a flashlight, run a rinse cycle and watch for drips from hoses or fittings.
- If any leak is observed or E10 persists: Internal seals, hoses, or the drip tray sensor may need replacement. This requires partial disassembly; contact Bosch service.
