Possible Causes
Internal leak triggering base float switch, Cracked hose or fitting, Loose clamp on hose, Leaking thermoblock or pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine immediately. Water inside the base can contact live parts.
- Remove from cabinet (built-in models): Carefully slide the unit out of the cabinet to inspect the underside. Place towels to catch any water.
- Check for water in base: If accessible, remove the bottom cover and look for pooled water and a float switch. Gently dry the area with towels and allow it to air dry completely.
- Identify leak source: Look for mineral tracks or wet hoses around the pump, thermoblock, and connections. Do not operate the machine until the leak is found.
- If you cannot clearly locate or repair the leak: Do not bypass the safety float. Contact Bosch service to replace leaking hoses, O-rings, or components.
