How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before inspecting sensor areas.
- Clean drip tray and container: Wash both with warm soapy water, ensuring all coffee residues are removed. Dry completely.
- Inspect floats and tabs: Check for stuck floats in the tray and ensure plastic tabs that actuate sensors are intact.
- Reinsert firmly: Slide the tray and container in until they are fully seated.
- Check sensor area: Use a flashlight to inspect the sensor slot or switch inside the machine for coffee buildup; clean gently with a dry cotton swab.
- If false messages continue: The sensor or its wiring may be defective and require replacement.
