Possible Causes
Worn outlet valve seal, Scale preventing valve closure, Cracked spout assembly, Residual pressure not relieved by drain valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the machine to cool before working near the spout.
- Clean spout assembly: Remove any detachable spout parts and rinse thoroughly. Use a brush to remove coffee oils.
- Descale the machine: Run a full descaling cycle to clean the outlet valve and internal passages.
- Observe drip pattern: If dripping is minor and stops after a short time, it may be normal residual drainage. If it continues for minutes, a valve may be leaking.
- If persistent dripping: The outlet valve or spout assembly seals may need replacement. This is an internal repair; contact Bosch service.
