Coffee maker is extremely slow to brew; a full pot takes much longer than normal.

Possible Causes
Limescale buildup in heater, Clogged internal tubing, Dirty inlet screen, Partially clogged filter basket outlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Allow the unit to cool before descaling.
- Descale thoroughly: Run at least one full descaling cycle with Braun‑approved descaler or a 1:1 vinegar solution, then flush with 2–3 tanks of fresh water.
- Clean reservoir outlet: Rinse the water tank outlet and any removable mesh screens.
- Clean filter basket: Ensure the outlet hole and drip stop are free of coffee oils and residue.
- Test with water only: Compare brew time with and without coffee to determine if the restriction is internal or in the filter.
If descaling does not improve brew speed, internal tubing or the heater block may be heavily scaled and require professional cleaning or replacement.
