Possible Causes
Air in water lines, Heavy scale on heating element, Low water level in reservoir, Partially blocked outlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Some noise is normal, but very loud or unusual sounds may indicate a problem.
- Fill reservoir fully: Ensure the Braun water tank is filled at least to the minimum mark before brewing.
- Descale: Run a descaling cycle to remove scale that can cause violent boiling and noise.
- Bleed air: After refilling, gently rock the machine side to side (while unplugged) to help release trapped air, then brew a water‑only cycle.
If loud banging persists after descaling, the heater block may be damaged and should be inspected by a technician.
