Safety: Unplug the coffee maker before handling the control panel.

This error points to a problem with the user interface communication.

  • Dry the panel: If steam or liquid has contacted the display or buttons, unplug the unit and let it dry in a warm, dry room for 24 hours. Do not use a hair dryer or heat gun.
  • Clean the surface: Wipe the control panel gently with a slightly damp cloth, then dry. Avoid spraying cleaner directly onto the panel.
  • Power reset: After drying, plug the unit back in and test all buttons.

If E06 remains and some or all buttons are dead, the keypad membrane or internal ribbon cable may be damaged. Replacing the control panel assembly or main PCB is a moderate to advanced repair and is best done by a service center.
