Possible Causes

Faulty button PCB, Damaged ribbon cable, Liquid ingress into control panel, Firmware lockup

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug before opening the control panel.

Steps:

  • Unplug for 10 minutes, then reconnect to clear any temporary firmware lockup.
  • Inspect the control panel for signs of liquid spills. If wet, allow to dry completely for 24–48 hours.
  • Open the front panel and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad/touchscreen and main board.
  • Check for corrosion or damage on the button PCB; clean with isopropyl alcohol if minor.

Resolution: Replace the button PCB or touchscreen assembly if unresponsive. If the UI board is good but still no response, the main control PCB may be faulty.
