How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before reaching near the grinder.
Steps:
- Remove the bean hopper, check for cracks or broken locking tabs.
- Reinstall the hopper and rotate it fully to the LOCK position until it clicks.
- Check that the hopper presses down on the safety switch or engages the sensor properly.
Advanced:
- Access the hopper microswitch or sensor under the hopper mount.
- Test the switch with a multimeter while pressing it; replace if it does not change state.
Resolution: Replace the bean hopper if the locking tab is broken. Replace the hopper safety switch if it fails testing.
