Safety: Unplug the unit before removing any covers.

Steps:

• 1. Confirm ready status: Ensure the "Ready" or "Heat" light indicates the tank is at temperature. Many Bunn models will not brew until the water is hot.
• 2. Check carafe and funnel position: Some Bunn brewers have interlocks that prevent brewing if the funnel or carafe is not properly seated. Reseat both and try again.
• 3. Test brew button: On mechanical switch models, test continuity across the brew switch when pressed. Replace if it does not close. On membrane keypads, inspect the ribbon cable for damage and reseat it on the control board.
• 4. Inspect control board: If the switch/keypad tests good but the board does not respond, the control input circuit may be faulty. Replace the control board.
• 5. Check for lockout modes: Some commercial Bunn units have programming or lockout features. Verify the brewer is not in a disabled or programming mode per the user manual.
