Capresso coffee maker leaks water from under the machine during or after brewing.

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker immediately if you see water near electrical parts. Do not operate a leaking appliance.

Steps:

• Identify leak source: Remove the water reservoir and inspect for cracks or leaks by filling it over a sink. Check the bottom valve for drips.
• Check external connections: Inspect the area where the tank meets the base for damaged seals or gaskets.
• Avoid overfilling: Fill only to the MAX line. Overfilling can cause overflow that appears as a leak.
• Internal inspection (advanced): With the unit unplugged and bottom cover removed, look for wet hoses, loose clamps, or mineral deposits indicating a slow leak. Tighten hose clamps gently and replace any cracked hoses.
• Replace damaged parts: A cracked reservoir, outlet fitting, or O-ring must be replaced with the correct Capresso parts to restore a watertight seal.
