How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning the control panel.
- Surface cleaning: Wipe the control panel with a soft cloth lightly dampened with mild soapy water, then dry thoroughly. Do not allow liquid to seep into seams.
- Test all buttons: After drying, plug in and test each button. Note which ones are unresponsive.
- Power reset: Unplug for a few minutes and plug back in to clear any temporary logic issues.
- Persistent issues: If specific buttons remain unresponsive, the keypad membrane or control board likely needs replacement, which requires opening the housing.
