Coffee maker brews extremely slowly; it may take over 20 minutes to brew a full pot.

Safety first: Unplug and cool the unit before cleaning.

• Descale thoroughly: Fill the reservoir with a 1:1 vinegar-water solution and run a full brew cycle. Pause halfway and let the solution sit for 20–30 minutes, then resume. Repeat if flow is still slow.
• Clean reservoir and inlet: Remove the reservoir (if removable) and clean the outlet and any mesh screens with a soft brush.
• Clean showerhead: Remove the brew basket and inspect the showerhead or water outlet above it. Wipe away coffee oils and mineral deposits with a damp cloth or soft brush.
• Rinse cycles: Run 2–3 full reservoirs of fresh water to flush out loosened scale.
• Persistent slow brew: If descaling does not improve speed, the heater may not be reaching full temperature or internal tubing may be heavily blocked, requiring professional disassembly and cleaning or part replacement.
