Coffee is too strong, bitter, or very small in volume

Safety first: Unplug the machine before cleaning spouts.

• Reduce strength: Lower the coffee strength setting and/or increase the programmed cup volume.
• Adjust grind coarser: While the grinder is running, adjust one or two steps coarser.
• Clean spouts: Use a pin to clear the coffee outlet holes and run a rinse cycle.
• Test: Brew a coffee and adjust settings gradually until taste is balanced.
