Foreign object (stone) in grinder, Jammed grinder burrs, Faulty grinder motor, Grinder motor wiring issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug the machine before accessing the bean hopper or grinder.
- Empty bean hopper: Remove all beans from the hopper. Use a vacuum or spoon to remove any remaining beans.
- Check for foreign objects: Look inside the hopper and visible grinder inlet for stones or hard objects. Do not insert fingers into the grinder.
- Adjust grind: Set the grinder to a slightly coarser setting to reduce load on the motor.
- Test with few beans: Add a small amount of beans and try a coffee cycle. Listen for normal grinder operation.
- If A13 persists or grinder is silent: The grinder motor or its control circuit may be defective. Internal access and replacement should be performed by a technician.
