Possible Causes
Clogged coffee spouts, Blocked internal coffee duct, Excessively fine grind causing blockage, Faulty pump performance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug the machine before cleaning outlets.
- Clean coffee spouts: Use a pin or fine needle to gently clear the holes in the coffee outlet nozzles. Wipe the area with a damp cloth.
- Run rinse cycle: Turn the machine ON and run a rinse or hot water cycle through the coffee spouts to flush any remaining blockage.
- Adjust grinder: If you use a very fine grind, adjust the grinder one or two steps coarser while the grinder is running (during a coffee cycle) to prevent over-compaction.
- Descale: Run a full descaling cycle to remove internal scale that may restrict flow.
- If A8 persists: The pump or internal coffee duct may be partially blocked or failing. A technician may need to open the machine to clean or replace the pump.
