Display shows 'Descale' and machine may have reduced flow or temperature

Safety first: Follow the descaling procedure exactly as described in the user manual. Use only De'Longhi-approved descaler.

• Prepare solution: Mix descaler with water in the water tank according to the instructions.
• Start descale program: Select the descaling function from the menu. Place a large container under the coffee and hot water spouts.
• Follow prompts: Allow the machine to run the full descale cycle, including pauses for soaking. Do not interrupt power.
• Rinse cycle: After descaling, rinse the tank thoroughly, fill with fresh water, and run the rinse cycle as prompted.
• If descale message remains: Repeat the cycle once. If still present, the flow sensor or control board may need service.
