How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug the machine before reaching inside.
- Remove and clean: Take out the grounds container and drip tray. Clean them thoroughly and dry completely.
- Inspect actuator tab: Check the small plastic tab on the container that presses the internal switch. If broken, replace the container.
- Clean switch area: Use a small brush or compressed air to remove coffee grounds from the switch area inside the machine.
- Reinsert firmly: Slide the container back in until it is fully seated and the door closes easily.
- If message remains: The microswitch or its wiring may be defective and requires professional replacement.
