Possible Causes

Insufficient warm-up time, Scale in steam thermoblock, Partially blocked steam nozzle, Faulty temperature sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Be cautious of hot water and steam. Keep hands clear of the nozzle.

  • Preheat longer: Allow the machine to fully reach steam temperature. Wait for the steam-ready indicator before opening the steam knob.
  • Purge water: Open the steam valve into an empty jug for 10–15 seconds to expel condensation before frothing milk.
  • Clean nozzle: With the machine OFF and cooled, remove and clean the steam tip.
  • Descale: Run a descaling cycle focusing on the steam circuit.
  • If issue persists: The steam thermoblock or sensor may be failing and should be checked by a technician.
