Water tastes or smells bad in coffee or hot water

Safety first: Do not drink water or coffee that smells or tastes off.

• Clean tank: Wash the water tank with warm water and mild detergent, rinse thoroughly.
• Replace water: Use fresh, cold drinking water. Avoid leaving water in the tank for days.
• Replace filter: If your model uses a De'Longhi water filter, replace it according to the schedule.
• Run multiple rinses: Run several rinse cycles to flush the internal circuit.
