Descale light remains on or descale message persists even after descaling.

Safety first: Follow only the reset steps recommended by Dualit for your model.

Steps:

• Repeat reset: Perform the exact descale reset sequence from the user manual (often involves holding specific buttons).
• Ensure full cycle: During descaling, make sure the full required volume of solution passes through so the flow meter can register it.
• Power cycle: Unplug for 5–10 minutes and retry the reset.

Note: If the indicator still will not clear, the flow meter or PCB may be faulty and require service.
