Possible Causes

Cracked silicone hose, Loose hose clamp on pump or boiler, Leaking boiler gasket, Split water tank outlet seal

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine immediately and dry any spilled water around the mains plug and socket. Do not operate with an internal leak.

Inspection:

  • Check external parts: Remove and inspect the water tank for cracks and check the outlet valve seal for damage.
  • Open the housing: With the machine unplugged, remove the cover and look for signs of water trails, corrosion, or limescale deposits that indicate leak points.
  • Tighten connections: Gently tighten hose clamps on the pump, boiler, and flow meter. Replace any obviously cracked hoses.
  • Boiler gasket: Inspect the boiler or thermoblock joints for seepage. If the gasket is leaking, it should be replaced.

Note: After any repair, run the machine with the cover off (carefully, avoiding live parts) to confirm the leak is resolved before reassembly.
