Possible Causes
Faulty NTC sensor reading too low, Partial failure of heating element, Incorrect calibration on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before extended inspection.
- Verify setpoint: Confirm the target temperature is set correctly and not at the minimum.
- Check ambient conditions: Very cold environments can slow heating. Move the unit to a room-temperature location and retry.
- Descale: Limescale can insulate the sensor and heating plate. Perform a full descale cycle and retest.
- Compare with external thermometer: Use a food thermometer to check actual water temperature. If the display reads much lower than reality, the NTC sensor is misreading.
- If misreading persists: The NTC sensor or control board calibration is faulty and should be replaced or serviced by a technician.
