Lid on kettle or brewer sticks, is hard to open, or does not seal properly.

Safety first: Allow the unit to cool before working on the lid.

• Clean gasket and rim: Remove the lid (if removable) and wash the gasket and mating surfaces with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Inspect gasket: Look for cracks, flattening, or stickiness. Replace if damaged.
• Check alignment: Ensure the lid hinge is not bent and that the lid seats evenly.
• If still problematic: Replace the lid assembly or gasket with a Fellow OEM part.
