Brewed coffee is weak or watery even when using normal amounts of coffee.

Safety: Unplug before internal inspection.

• 1. Adjust coffee preparation:
  • Use a medium grind suitable for drip brewing.
  • Increase the amount of coffee grounds slightly and ensure even distribution in the filter.
• 2. Verify brew temperature:
  • Measure the temperature of coffee in the carafe immediately after brewing; it should be near typical drip standards (around 85–96°C at the brew head).
  • If significantly lower, inspect and test the brew heater and temperature sensor.
• 3. Check for bypass flow:
  • Some models have a bypass path that can dilute coffee; inspect internal valves for being stuck open.
  • Replace any faulty bypass or mixing valve.
• 4. Descale:
  • Scale can alter flow and temperature; run a full descaling cycle.
