How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the coffee maker before working on the control panel.
- 1. Clean the panel surface:
- Wipe the keypad area with a slightly damp cloth to remove sticky residue.
- 2. Inspect for moisture ingress:
- Remove the front bezel and check for coffee or water behind the keypad.
- Dry thoroughly and allow to air dry for several hours.
- 3. Reseat keypad ribbon:
- Disconnect and reconnect the keypad ribbon cable to the control board.
- 4. Replace keypad:
- If specific buttons remain unresponsive, replace the membrane keypad or entire control panel assembly.
- 5. Check control board:
- If a new keypad does not resolve the issue, the control board's input circuitry may be defective; replace the main control PCB.
