  • Test the outlet for proper voltage and ensure no extension cords or power strips are overloaded.

  • Remove the rear or bottom cover to access the main control PCB.
  • Verify that all spade and plug connectors are fully seated and not discolored from heat.
• 3. Examine the power supply section:
  • On the control board, locate the low-voltage power supply (transformer or switching supply, rectifier, and capacitors).
  • Look for bulging or leaking electrolytic capacitors and burnt resistors.
  • Replace any visibly damaged components or the entire control board if component-level repair is not practical.
• 4. Check display backlight circuit:
  • If the backlight flickers heavily, inspect the LED driver components and ribbon cable to the display.
  • Reseat the ribbon cable and replace the display module if the backlight is shorting.
• 5. Reassemble and test:
  • Reinstall covers, plug in, and run a full brew cycle to confirm stable operation and that E08 does not return.
