Safety: Disconnect power before opening the control panel.

  • Unplug the coffee maker for at least 5 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge.
  • Plug back in and attempt to set the clock and timer again.
• 2. Check control panel buttons:
  • Inspect the front membrane keypad for stuck or damaged buttons.
  • Press each button individually to ensure it returns freely.
  • If buttons are unresponsive or stuck, replace the control panel / keypad assembly.
• 3. Inspect control board timing components:
  • Remove the front panel to access the main control PCB.
  • Look for a small crystal oscillator near the microcontroller; check for physical damage or broken solder joints.
  • Resolder any cracked joints or replace the board if the timing circuit is defective.
• 4. Firmware reset (if available):
  • Some models allow a factory reset by holding specific buttons (e.g., "Program" + "Auto" for 10 seconds). Refer to the service documentation.
• 5. Replace control board if needed:
  • If E10 persists and the clock cannot be set or keeps resetting, replace the main control PCB.
