Possible Causes

Clogged coffee spout, Blocked internal coffee outlet valve, Dried coffee oils in distribution channels, Faulty coffee dispensing solenoid valve

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the machine before disassembling the coffee spout or front panel parts.

Cleaning steps:

  • Clean coffee spouts: Remove the front coffee spout assembly (if removable) and soak it in warm water with a little dish soap. Use a small brush or toothpick to clear the outlet holes.
  • Rinse brew path: Run several rinse cycles (if the machine allows it without error) to flush the internal coffee channels.
  • Use cleaning tablets: If your Gaggia model supports it, run a cleaning tablet cycle to dissolve coffee oils inside the brew path.

Internal valve check (advanced):

  • Remove the top/side cover to access the coffee dispensing solenoid valve and outlet tubing.
  • Disconnect the silicone hose from the outlet side of the valve and check for blockages.
  • Blow gently through the hose and valve (with machine unplugged) to confirm they are clear.

If the valve coil is open or the valve is mechanically stuck, replace the coffee dispensing solenoid valve. Persistent E07 after cleaning indicates a need for professional service.
