Possible Causes

Clogged brew group filter screen, Blocked coffee puck outlet, Excessively fine grind setting, Blocked coffee distribution channel

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the machine before removing the brew group.

Unblocking steps:

  • Remove and clean brew group: Take out the brew group and thoroughly rinse it. Pay special attention to the metal filter screen and the coffee outlet at the bottom. Use a brush or toothpick to clear any compacted coffee.
  • Clean coffee spouts: Remove and clean the coffee spout assembly to ensure free flow.
  • Adjust grind: Set the grinder to a slightly coarser setting (only adjust while the grinder is running during a brew cycle).
  • Run rinse cycles: Reinstall the brew group and run several rinse cycles to flush the coffee circuit.

If E15 continues, the internal coffee distribution block or overpressure valve may be clogged and require disassembly and cleaning by a technician.
