Advertisements
Possible Causes
Blocked milk suction tube, Air leak in milk circuit, Dirty cappuccinatore, Incorrect milk type or temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Cleaning and setup:
- Disassemble frother: Take apart the milk frother or carafe head and soak all parts in warm water with milk system cleaner.
- Clean suction tube: Run a small brush through the milk tube and rinse thoroughly.
- Check seals: Inspect O-rings and seals on the frother for cracks; replace if worn.
- Use cold milk: Use fresh, cold milk (3–4°C) and avoid UHT milk if possible.
If frothing remains poor after cleaning and using proper milk, the cappuccinatore assembly may be worn and should be replaced.
