Possible Causes
Clogged pod needle, Bent or dull piercing needle, Blocked single-serve water outlet, Faulty single-serve solenoid valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool before working near the pod needles.
- 1. Clean pod needles: Use a paper clip or the manufacturer’s cleaning tool to gently clear coffee grounds from the upper and lower pod needles.
- 2. Run a rinse cycle: Without a pod inserted, run a hot water cycle on the single-serve side to flush the system.
- 3. Inspect needle alignment: Check that the pod holder and needles are not bent or damaged. Replace the pod holder assembly if necessary.
- 4. Check single-serve valve (advanced): Access the internal tubing and solenoid valve for the single-serve circuit. Ensure the valve actuates and is not blocked. Replace if defective.
